Market sharing occurs when businesses collude to carve up markets and agree not to compete for each other’s customers. Market sharing is a form of serious anti-competitive conduct which can lead to reduced consumer choices and un-competitively high prices.
The Competition Commission has developed a series of educational materials to raise community awareness on the topic. Members of the public are welcome to download the materials.
